Lovable launches Salesforce integration letting teams build apps and agents on Headless 360, Slack and AgentExchange

Lovable announced on 15 September 2026 that its app builder now works with Salesforce, so apps and agents built in Lovable run against Salesforce Headless 360 APIs and MCP servers and ship into Slack and as installable agents, with record-level permissions preserved and data staying in Salesforce. The post quotes Tyler Carlson, Salesforce SVP and Head of Product for AgentExchange & Ecosystem, and says the capability is available today; Lovable cites more than 70 million projects created since November 2024. CEO Anton Osika presented at Salesforce's Dreamforce 2026 the next day, where TNW reported Lovable at $200M ARR with employees at nearly two-thirds of the Fortune 500 building on it. The tie-up plugs Lovable into a large enterprise install base and its partner marketplace.

Cohere signs definitive agreement to combine with Aleph Alpha, forming a Berlin/Toronto sovereign AI firm with 1,000+ staff

On Sept 16, 2026 Cohere and Germany's Aleph Alpha signed a definitive business combination agreement, following the planned combination announced in April; the company will operate as Cohere, be dual-headquartered in Berlin and Toronto, keep Heidelberg as a research centre and exceed 1,000 employees. Aleph Alpha co-CEO Ilhan Scheer will become COO and co-founder Samuel Weinbach chief research officer on close, which is subject to regulatory approval and expected later in 2026; BetaKit notes the FT reported in April a combined value of about $20B and a Schwarz Group pledge of EUR 500M toward a Series E. Signing turns Cohere's largest deal from intent into binding terms and deepens its European sovereign-AI footprint while it pursues a $2-3B raise.

Shield AI in talks to raise at a valuation of at least $20B, up from $12.7B six months ago

The Information reported on September 14, 2026 that Shield AI is in talks for new funding at a valuation of at least $20 billion, roughly 57% above the $12.7 billion mark set by its $2 billion Series G that closed in March 2026. The report restates Shield AI's guidance of more than 80% revenue growth this year to at least $540 million, and notes its June $16 million V-BAT contract with the Polish navy. A $20B mark would reset secondary pricing benchmarks for the JPMorgan-backed defense startup.

US Commerce Department orders Kalshi to pull its AI-compute price tracker on national security grounds

Semafor reported on 15 September 2026 that the US Commerce Department ordered Kalshi to unpublish its AI-compute futures curve, a product aggregating markets on the cost of renting Nvidia chips, citing national security concerns. Commerce also pushed the CFTC to effectively freeze approval of new compute contracts for 60 days; Kalshi complied quietly while the underlying markets stayed open, and Kalshi declined to comment. Direct federal intervention against a launched product is a new political-risk channel for Kalshi's data and contract lines.
