Zipline in talks to raise about $1B at a roughly $20B valuation, nearly triple its prior mark, Bloomberg reports

Bloomberg reported on Sept 16, 2026, citing people familiar with the matter, that drone-delivery company Zipline is discussing a new round of about $1B that would value it at roughly $20B, almost three times its previous valuation. The Information separately reported the company nearing a $20B valuation in new funding talks. The talks are early and size and terms could change, but a close would reset Zipline's valuation benchmark and fund expansion of its autonomous delivery network.

ByteDance H1 2026 revenue rose ~30% to $120B as net profit fell to $20B on AI spending

The Information reported on 15 September 2026, citing three people familiar with ByteDance's finances, that first-half 2026 revenue reached about $120 billion, up roughly 30% year on year on TikTok international advertising and e-commerce, while net profit fell to about $20 billion as AI spending rose. The WSJ carried the same disclosure on 16 September. Half-year revenue near Meta's scale with visibly compressed margins resets the earnings base that secondary-market buyers use to price ByteDance stock.

OpenAI in early talks for a pre-IPO round at a $1.2T+ valuation; NYT cites up to $1.5T

The Financial Times reported on September 15, 2026 that OpenAI has opened early talks with investors on a new pre-IPO financing that could value it at more than $1.2 trillion, roughly 41% above the $852 billion post-money valuation of its March 2026 round. The New York Times put the figure as high as $1.5 trillion on September 16, and Bloomberg, Reuters and the Wall Street Journal carried the same report the same day. A primary round at that level would reset the reference price for every OpenAI secondary trade.
