On September 10, 2026 ClickHouse announced it is a launch partner for OpenAI's new Data agent in ChatGPT Work, shipping a ClickHouse Cloud plugin in the ChatGPT Work and Codex plugin directories that lets users connect via OAuth, explore schemas, run read-only queries and turn results into dashboards in natural language, built on ClickHouse's remote MCP server. The post notes OpenAI itself runs petabyte-scale observability on ClickHouse. It is a distribution tie-in with OpenAI's enterprise product.

ClickHouse has acquired security analytics startup RunReveal, adding security data analytics capabilities to its real-time analytics database platform.

ClickHouse, which sells a kind of database that can quickly analyze large volumes of data, such as website visitor activity, recently generated more than $350 million in annual recurring revenue, up 40% from May, according to a person close to the company. ClickHouse’s offerings, which include free open-source software and paid cloud services to run it, have been gaining more traction with companies including OpenAI, whose use of ClickHouse jumped in the past year, the person said.
