US Navy awards Castelion a Blackbeard production delivery order worth up to $200 million
Castelion announced on September 14, 2026 a production delivery order from the U.S. Navy with a total value of up to $200 million to manufacture, assemble, test and deliver an initial lot of Blackbeard Hypersonic Weapons under a SBIR Phase III award. The order transitions Blackbeard from early operational capability prototypes to production rounds for carrier use. It is Castelion's first production lot for the program and a step-change in contracted backlog and revenue visibility.
