EQT-managed Scaleup Europe Fund in talks to invest as ElevenLabs seeks over $500M in a new round
Bloomberg reported on 17 September 2026 that the EU-backed Scaleup Europe Fund - a roughly EUR50bn vehicle managed by EQT and set up earlier in 2026 - is in talks to invest in UK-based ElevenLabs, which is seeking to raise more than $500 million. Talks are ongoing and no deal is guaranteed; the raise would follow ElevenLabs' $500M Series D at an $11B valuation earlier in the year. A sovereign-backed round of this size would reset the valuation reference point for ElevenLabs secondary buyers.
